Himalayan singing bowls have been made in this valley for generations. We give sessions for rest and recovery, and we train people to become practitioners — in a small studio in Kathmandu, with every instrument provided.

What actually happens

You lie down, fully clothed, and do nothing at all. The bowls are played around you and resting on the body, and the sound carries through rather than over you.

Most people come for sleep, stress or a mind that will not settle, and most fall somewhere between deeply relaxed and asleep. There is nothing to believe in and nothing to practise beforehand — the work is the sound, and your only job is to lie still and let it reach you.

7-Day Singing Bowl Therapy Course

Beginner to advanced, 37 hours, certificate on completion.

Our main training. Seven days of practical teaching that takes you from never having held a bowl to working confidently with clients. All bowls and instruments are provided, the course manual is included, and you finish with a certificate and the ability to practise professionally.

Private Sound Healing Session

One to one, with singing bowls, gong and chimes.

You lie down fully clothed and rest while the bowls are played around and on the body. People come for stress, poor sleep, anxiety, grief, or simply for deep rest. No experience or belief required — you only have to lie still and listen.

Group Sound Bath

For friends, families, offices and retreats.

A shared session for a group — everyone rests while the sound moves through the room. We host groups at the studio and also travel to offices, hotels, yoga studios and retreats around the valley.

Vaastu, Crystals & Numerology

Personal consultations alongside the sound work.

Babita also consults on Vaastu, on crystals chosen for you by date of birth and horoscope, and on numerology — including lucky numbers and phone numbers. These sit alongside the sound healing as part of the same practice.

Session prices depend on length and where we come to you — message us and we'll tell you plainly. The 7-day course is NPR 25,000, reduced from NPR 30,000.

Babita Gurung

Babita has spent 4 years giving sound healing to clients and teaching others to do the same. She runs every session and teaches every course herself.

Her practice reaches past the bowls. Alongside sound healing she works with Vaastu, with crystals chosen for a person by their date of birth and horoscope, and with numerology — the traditions sit together, and students tend to find that the sound makes more sense once the rest of it does.
